Our sharp sand, also referred to as grit, concreting or coarse sand is suitable for a range of applications when mixed with other products, including floor screeds, paving and concreting.
This is a sand with fine sharp aggregates. It has a gritty texture, with a large proportion of larger particles compared to building sand. This gives it a strong structural competition, meaning it can be used as part of a base for driveways, block paving and artificial grass.
Because it has a low silt and clay content, it can also be used to loosen and aerate soil, to improve drainage
