Description

Chestnut rails are commonly used with scarfed rails and morticed posts when installing fencing. Choose between Cleft Chestnut Rails and Half Cleft Chestnut Rails, available in lengths of 9’6’’.

A rustic appearance, that blends in seamlessly with the outdoor landscape without spoiling the natural environment. Easy to install, this style of fence rail is a popular choice for creating boundaries on expansive areas of countryside, as well as around gardens, fields and estates. 

The untreated hardwood has a low permeability to moisture and resistance to decay making it highly durable and effective as a long term or permanent fence fixture.
